A single common exam for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts across the participating public-sector banks (other than SBI).
Eligibility
- Age: 20 to 30 years, with upper-age relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
- Qualification: Graduation in any discipline, with working knowledge of computers.
Exam pattern & selection
- Preliminary (100 marks · 1 hour)English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability (100 questions). Qualifying stage.
- Main (200 marks objective + 25 descriptive)Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English and Data Analysis & Interpretation, plus a descriptive English (letter & essay) test.
- InterviewCandidates shortlisted from Mains face an interview; final merit is Mains + interview, then provisional allotment to a participating bank.
Selection: Prelims (qualifying) → Mains → Interview → common allotment to a participating bank.
